1. HOW DOES THE QUEUING WORK?

That's a very good question. And it’s a simple answer. After signing up to our Pretty Green app, we can determine based on your address whether we can offer next day delivery to you or not.

If we don’t deliver to your area yet, we will place you in a queue. Once enough people from your area sign up, we will then start delivering to your suburb. When that happens, we’ll give you a holla via email to let you in on the good news. So rally up your mates, your family, your hairdresser and your barista to jump on board, the more the merrier! We’ll take care of the rest.

Why do we do this? Well, to make sure we grow sustainably and have as minimal impact on the planet as possible. And... because we want to keep delivery free for you guys of course!

2. HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

With the mobile device in your hand, duh. Sorry that's not what you meant, right?

Once you have access to the app, you can start your grocery spree. We have heaps of features you’ll love. We’re talking one click recipe ordering, dietary filters and personalisation which should make shopping more than a breeze.

Once you’ve found everything you’re looking for, head on over to your shopping basket, lock in a delivery time that suits your hectic lifestyle and pay.

Now all you’ve got to do is wait for our friendly delivery driver. We’ll text you 15 minutes before we arrive with your groceries so you can make sure you’re waiting with open arms at your door.

3. WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIMES?

Luckily for you, our delivery times are based on 2 hour rhythms from 7am to 9pm every damn day! So what does that mean? Well, when you choose your preferred time it’ll be within a 2 hour time slot. For example, if you’re having a lazy Sunday morning, you might choose the 9am to 11am slot. And we’ll deliver within that time frame! If you’re out during the day and the only time that works for you is afternoons, you could select the 3pm to 5pm time slot. Lock it in, Eddie.

But wait, it gets better. We’ll also send you a heads up via text when we’re 15 minutes away from dropping off your groceries. That gives you enough time to get your shit together and meet us at the door right?

4. IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?

Nope. There is no minimum order amount. Because where’s the fun in that?

5. HOW DO I PAY FOR THE GROCERIES?

Get out your wallet, whip out your card, and let the magic happen. We take all cards. You’ve also got the choice to save your card details with your profile so you only have to enter in those details once. It’s all encrypted and safe, so you can trust us when we say we won’t be taking any mystery dollaroos away from you.

6. WHAT IF I AM NOT AT HOME?

You cheeky little monkey! You didn’t open the door when we delivered, did you? S’all good, that’s not a problem. You can pick up your groceries from our warehouse the very next day. Please shoot us a message and we’ll get that all sorted for you.

7. UNTIL WHAT TIME CAN I PLACE

No need to rush my friend. You can place your order till 7pm for the next day delivery. Phew!

8. CAN I STILL ADD PRODUCTS

Yes, that is certainly possible. Just place another order via the app, with the same address, delivery time and date. If we have enough room in the van, we will certainly squeeze some extras to your existing order.

12. WHAT ABOUT WHEN THE PRODUCTS

I ORDERED DON’T ARRIVE IN GOOD CONDITION?

We get it, that really doesn’t do anything to brighten your day. And for that, we’re truly sorry. Send us an email and attach an image of the product and we will sort you out - we’ll either refund you, or give you a cheeky deal on your next shop, whichever you prefer.

The image will hopefully help us get to the root of the problem and rest assured, we’ll go above and beyond to make sure this mistake doesn’t happen again.

13. WHAT'S YOUR RETURNS POLICY?

Because this is food, we don't have a returns policy. Again, if something arrives in a quality or condition you’re not stoked about then please send us a message at info@prettygreen.com.au and attach an image of the damaged product. In that sitch, we’ll reimburse that product.

14. HOW CAN I SEE THE INGREDIENTS OF A PRODUCT?

Oh, did you miss it? Our ingredients are listed for all to see on each product page. So if you’ve got an allergy or dietary requirement, there’s no need to hold back.

Bar a cheeky cheat day chocolate or two, we try our utmost to ensure our produce isn’t filled with those pesky nasties that usually prove difficult to dodge. So you can live a healthier lifestyle from the get go.

15. HOW DO I KNOW IF THE PRODUCTS ARE FRESH?

Say whaaat? Of course all our daily products are fresh from our producers! We ensure that we only order what’s necessary, which means that you’re guaranteed to wake up to ripe avocado’s for your morning toast, and we don’t end up wasting a shitload of produce like *cough* some other supermarkets do.

16. HOW DO I KNOW YOUR PRODUCTS ARE REALLY AUSTRALIAN?

We pick up your fruit and vegetables straight from the markets the morning of your delivery. This way, we know that you're receiving not only the best Australian produce (extra points if you order in season!) but also getting freshly picked produce that is still packed with nutrients. We work closely with our supplier to ensure that we never sell any produce that's imported. And if we don't find the Australian grown produce you've ordered at the markets? We'll happily refund or give you store credit, because we believe it's better to miss out on your avo's every now and again than bring you imported produce.

17. WHAT DO YOU DO TO BE A SUSTAINABLE SUPERMARKET?

Sustainability runs in our blood. It’s in yours too.

We could go on all day about our sustainability practices and where we see our future headed, but scrolling just ain’t doing any good for the planet. Or your wellbeing for that matter. Instead, we’ll give you a brief overview of our relationship with
señor sustainability.

#1 By offering fresh produce only from Australia, we cut the transport emissions down by too many tons to count. This is our driving force for sustainability.

#2 Each delivery we make is carbon offset, which means you can order groceries without the guilt. Every damn day.

#3 We’re at war with wastage. Everything we do, from packaging to produce functions with a zero waste mindset. That means utilising recyclable or reusable packaging and ordering only what we need to - resulting in products that are also fresh as fork.

18. WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH “CHEW TODAY CHANGE TOMORROW”?

We’re making a promise to change the food industry in Australia. And you better believe we’re keeping it.

We believe in Chew Today, Change Tomorrow. By supporting us, you're helping us fully back local Australian producers and farmers, lower carbon emissions and reduce food waste. The point? To help us make Australia a little more pretty and a lot more green.

Today we are a supermarket start-up trying its upmost to be as sustainable as we can. But with your support, we will be able to increase our sustainable efforts and  impact tomorrow. 

19. CAN SOMEONE UNDER 18 TAKE THE ORDER?

Is the Pope Catholic? If you are old enough to open the door, you are old enough to receive groceries.

We are, however, not allowed to deliver alcohol to minors who are under 18. Hence our delivery driver will ask for proof of identity, if you’re loading up on the nectar. This is a legal requirement and we fully support it. Always drink responsibly or live a pretty ordinary life.

20. WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU MEAN WITH

SUSTAINABLE - OBTAINABLE - AFFORDABLE?

We’re not the Oxford dictionary, but we will define it in the simplest of terms.

We’re sustainable by nature, obtainable for all and affordable for everyone. We don’t care whether you live in a shoebox or a mansion, whether you work 50 hours or 5 and we definitely don’t care how much moolah you’ve got in the bank. Pretty Green was put on Mother Earth to ensure good, fresh Australian food and products are accessible to everyone 24/7, no matter your budget, lifestyle or coffee order. Period.

We’re here to look after our fellow Aussies by looking after Aussie businesses. And we think that’s pretty sweet.
